Biography
Collins Masai, serves as the Company Secretary for P. Sang and Company Advocates, bringing over eight (8) years of experience in corporate governance, company secretarial practice, and regulatory compliance. He is a Certified Secretary registered with the Institute of Certified Public Secretaries of Kenya and an Accredited Governance Auditor.
Mr. Masai has extensive expertise in business establishment, corporate restructuring, board and shareholder affairs, statutory compliance, governance audits, and board evaluation. He provides strategic guidance on corporate governance matters, ensuring compliance with applicable legal and regulatory frameworks while supporting effective decision-making at board level and administration.
Throughout his career, he has advised and supported organizations across diverse sectors including financial services, hospitality, manufacturing, agriculture, transport and communication, tourism, and information technology within the East African region. His experience encompasses maintenance of statutory records, company registrations, share capital restructuring, preparation and filing of statutory returns, management of board and general meetings, and implementation of governance best practices.
Mr. Masai holds a Master of Business Administration (Finance) from the University of Nairobi, a Bachelor of Science in Strategic Management from Moi University, and is a Certified Secretary (CPS-K). His blend of legal, governance, company law and business expertise enables him to provide practical and commercially focused company secretarial support to the firm’s clients.
